Chef'd by a Waterbar alum, Spire's a 105-seat contemporary American resto-cum-raw bar decked out with polished marble countertops, a bank o' slick two-tops lining an exposed brick wall, and stately white archways throughout. For now they're only rockin' lunchtime fare, consisting of stuff like a pea/carrot/thyme/sage-stuffed chicken pot pie, shrimp n' creamy lemon grits (with tomatoes and tarragon-chardonnay butter), and a fried soft shell crab sando on an Acme torpedo roll, also the move the Road Runner employed when Coyote got that sick submarine.
