West Coasters are always the first to jump on the hot new hybrids, from Leo famously whipping a Prius, to Mel Gibson famously whipping a Model/Singer. A more tasteful hybrid inspired by the West Coast: TaKorean.

Inspired by the popularity of Korean tacos on the West Coast, the newest addition to DC's foodtruck armada's a sky blue, yellow topped, refurbed Philadelphian emergency response vehicle serving up a "fusion blend of Korean BBQ" with a "twist of Mexican style", famously perfected by El Gordo Checker. The warm corn tortilla flavor party's customizable by combining:

Meats: soy-marinated Bulgogi, hoisin pan-seared Caramelized Tofu, or sweet chili/ginger/soy Tangy Chicken -- also what you call an astronaut who's afraid to spacewalk
Slaws: fresh Spicy Kimchi, or rice vinegar/lime Nappa-Romain (only Rebeca's hot enough to marry the entire wine country)
Toppings: "the works" is standard, or choose from fresh cilantro, lime crema, sesame seeds, and (hot!) sriracha -- apparently Jimmy Durante got knighted

They're also hawking Mexico's colorful Jarritos sodas, and, big-heartedly, giving away 1% of their sales to monthly-rotating charities -- which might include Mel, who thanks to his hybrid can't even afford a hybrid.
