Event of the Week: Whiskey Live BostonThis one's a no-brainer. Wednesday night at the Park Plaza Castle, Whisky Magazine is throwing an epic festival of brown booze, featuring over 150 whiskies, full dinner buffet, and souvenir Glencairn glass. Not only that, but there's also an entire show-within-a-show, the Indie Spirits Expo, going down at the same time inside, and it'll be packed with tons of small-spirits distillers insisting you sample their small-batch gins, mezcals, and vodkas. If you aren't in a food coma from Saturday's smorgasbord, the 10th annual Phantom Gourmet Food Festival is overtaking Lansdowne Street on Sunday from noon to 4p. And for some reason, the actor who played "Sweep the Leg" Johnny in Karate Kid, William Zabka, is scheduled to be in attendance. Consider yourself informed. Also, if that video doesn't give you the chills, you're a robot.
