The doors at Scotch & Sausage are finally opening Thursday, and they will greet you with 100 varieties of Scotch and whiskey, plus plenty of cold beer AND (as you may have guessed) a whole lotta sausage. Bonus: all links and sandwiches will be eight bucks or less. Double bonus: they'll be open late on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Friday, July 25th: Mox Nix, a Dallas-based home brewer, won last years "Best In Show" award at the Labor of Love Fest of Ales with their Weizenbock. They now get to go into Deep Ellum Brewery and brew up a batch of their winning beer. To celebrate that, The Rustic is opening its doors to you so you can sample said brew while taking in some live music.

MJ Immortal Tour

Saturday, July 26th and Sunday, July 27th: You know you miss the King of Pop, but this weekend, Jackson’s music will come to life in the form of Cirque Du Soleil's "Michael Jackson The Immortal". 49 dancers, acrobats, and musicians will combine ninja-like acrobatics, some sweet dance moves, and Jackson’s music to create one hell of a spectacle. Pakpao Thai

Sunday, July 27th: Not that you needed another reason to go to Pakpao for their brunch, but now you have three more. They are debuting a build-your-own Bloody Mary bar this Sunday during their brunch from 11am-2pm. You get a shot of vodka and your choice of three house-made mixes: Sriracha, Thai, or curry. You can then dress it up with a dizzying array of fixins.
