Taste of Dallas and a clam bake at Grace

Dallas Event of the Week
It’s called the Taste of Dallas, so you can expect a ton of food (and no tongue kissing of NFL tight end Dallas Clark, why would you think that?!). There will be plenty of action beyond the food though: dance lessons, games, live music, and World Cup watch parties. The whole thing benefits the American Heart Association, even if your actions that day won't benefit yours.

House of Blues Dallas

Thursday, July 10th: These days you usually have to fight for your right to party, but luckily The House of Blues fought for you and won with the Guitar Gods Tour of 2014. HOB is bringing four of the best guitar pickers the world has ever seen. These guys can seriously shred, so grab your leather jacket and a beer and get ready to rock. Continue Reading

Eventive Marketing Solutions

Saturday, July 12th: Cars, Cooking & Blues. Not that you need any more convincing after reading the title, but just to clarify -- that means there will be both classic & new cars, tasty food from local vendors, and sweet blues playing all day in Downtown Garland.

Princess Bride

Saturday, July 12th: If you had any kind of childhood in the '80s or '90s, you know yourself some Princess Bride. Now is your chance to once again join Westley, Buttercup, Inigo, Fezzik, and the rest of the bunch in large-screen format with a quote-along. Besides getting to quote one of the greatest movies from your past, there will be a rescue Buttercup game and swords for everyone to "fight" with. If you happen to have six fingers, probably don't show up.

Grace

Saturday, July 12th: Grace has already proven themselves worthy in DFW, but now they are raising their game this weekend with a Summer clam bake on their terrace. Dress will be “clam bake casual” -- we’re confident you have that laying around in your closet. Besides the obvious clams, there will be oysters served two ways (classic mignonette and white cheddar) and more seafood tastiness, and each dish is served with either beer or wine.
