Philadelphia Mummers

Saturday, March 1st: Get an early start on Fat Tuesday at the Piazza at Schmidt’s, where an earth-shattering social experiment will take place: Mummers meet Mardi Gras. The six-hour party will feature body painted dancers, magicians, stilt-walkers, jugglers, street performers, live music, and'll make you feel like it's January 1st all over again.

Sunday, March 2nd: For the second-straight year, the crews at local breweries (Victory, Sly FoxYards, etc.) are hitting World Cafe Live from noon to 5pm for a battle of the bands, where local "celebrity" judges will pick the best renditions of things like "Hey Ya"
