Maryland Craft Beer Festival

Kicking off American Craft Beer Week, this all-day suds-vent floods the Great Frederick Fairgrounds with 15 state breweries (from Ellicott Mills, to Heavy Seas, to Flying Dog) all offering both general admission and VIP beers (Velvet Rope-ilsner!?). There'll also be six bands you don't know (... but will soon love!), food vendors like Just Smokin’ Around BBQ, and more typical festival eats like funnel cakes, aka the favorite activity of fratboy Louie Anderson.
