MAM is the eclectic creative outlet of a Lincoln-born Brown University senior (who is equal parts noted graffiti artist, writer for online hip-hop mag Benz & A Backpack, and college econ major) combining his passions for music, art, and fashion into a Tumblr that's both aesthetically pleasing and easy to digest, assuming you aren't genetically predisposed for IBS. Highlights include obscure photography (Eminem with an early '90s flattop, white b-ballers in Hickory (IN) lacing up their Converse kicks, Brown's own Hermione!), selected works of graf and real art (Banksy, George Condo, Jeremy Young) and notable quotes including one by Brett Easton Ellis on Charlie Sheen, and Daniel Craig in Layer Cake, which Kirstie Alley belatedly realized was NOT AT ALL about what she'd hoped. On the musical front, he's got a range of videos and just-released tracks featuring both known artists (Joell Ortiz, Raphael Saadiq, Iron and Wine) and lesser known local Providence musicians like the Sox-cap wearing crew from Grind Mode and rapper Juan Deuce's track "Rug Surfing", the meaning of which even Kirstie figured out pretty quickly.

And if you can't get enough of the glorious songs the kids are listening to these days, mrALEXANDER generously offers a musical digest of free music once or twice a month -- a duration he could cut in half if he'd only purchase a certain revolutionary food and drink maker (now dishwasher safe!).
