Essentially a one-man operation out of Orlando, Makr's been resurrected after a three-year hiatus with eight new models, each bestowed with patterns so beautiful and unique, you'll realize your mom was lying when she said the same things about you. Styles run from hand-drawn landscapes, to the Portland-precipitation-inspired "Slash", to herringbone and a tonal plaid, all precisely laser-etched in-house on premium leathers like tan nubuck, "oil brown", and black chap (black Englishman joke's all yours, we're not touching it -- or did we just?). The rest of the process (cutting, patterning, edge treatment) is also handled in-house; most of the resulting pieces are trim enough for front-pocketing, encouraging a racier pickpocket experience.

A few models're a little larger, like the deep-pocketed Flap, and the side-by-side-card- accommodating Long, making for a Val-Pak face-off between your free hoagies and the discounted training sessions that'll keep your belly from becoming as fat as your wallet.
