Bringing in a cousin to help out on a project can be a risky proposition, unless he discovers that the tracks in the mud were made by a 1963 Pontiac Tempest and you drive a 1964 Buick Skylark convertible, thus freeing you from spending the rest of your days in prison with the Karate Kid. Calling on their own cousin to help stuff your gullet, Casa Razdora.
The vision of a just-arrived-from-Bologna husband/ wife duo who enlisted a local cousin to help navigate the Hub's tricky resto waters, CR's a 14-seat family run lunch operation plating a lengthy lineup of regional Italian grub in the terra-cotta shingled former Sam & Anne's Deli, now fittingly named after the Italian homemaker who "creates all from scratch with her own hands" -- so you can just imagine the length of her nails! Handheld highlights include a hot sausage, tomato sauce, and mozzarella-stuffed flatbread piadina; a signature Prosciutto di Parma, soppressata, and roasted red peppered panini; and a Nordico wrap filled w/ arugula, Parmigiano, and cured beef, which certainly won't happen if you drop a freestyle with DJ KAY SLAY, THE DRAMA KING! There're also enticing daily specials like Arista alla Birra, beer braised pork tenderloin w/ baked veggies and roasted potato; gnocchi w/ walnuts and Gorgonzola; and chicken fillet stuffed w/ Prosciutto, cheese, and sage -- making it the... oh lord, here it comes... wise choice for lunch.
Because sometimes you just crave the staples, CR also peddles classic antipasti, traditional pan pizza by the slice, and your choice of eleven sauces on seven fresh homemade pastas they can quickly make up to-go, which sure beats your normal Sac O' Suds.
