Handcrafted doughnuts in the West Loop and beyond

Because it's only appropriate for a doughnut shop's name to recall a film focused on people who could really go for some doughnuts, maaaan, Glazed & Infused's a new effort from the Mia Francesca folks, operating out of a Fulton home base decked in reclaimed wood, stained concrete floors, and creative spins on '40s posters for an overall WWII feel, which your grandpa can relate to from his time on leave.All the 'nuts are made using painstakingly sourced ingredients, with flavors ranging from Madagascar vanilla bean glazed, to PB&J w/ homemade raspberry jam and a crunchy peanut butter exterior, to maple-glazed long johns sporting an entire strip of also-maple-glazed bacon -- skip it, and the sap will be you. Cake doughnut fans can opt for cream cheese-frosted Red Velvets, vanilla numbers with cacao berry ganache & dark chocolate vermicelli "sprinkles", or the yuzu curd-filled, zest-topped Luscious Lemon, an unpopular opinion that 30 Rock kind of hammers to death. She hates sex!While Fulton will be the main hub, there'll also be a walk-up window operating out of the Forno space at Milwaukee & Damen, and an outpost at the Brown Line's Armitage stop later this Summer, assuming you can even sit down on the train after all that paddling.
