Hanging at the Hamptons can be incredibly relaxing if you let it, though stand between Casey and that hamburger and you're pretty much begging him to bull-rush your face off. Going out of their way to tackle a more relaxed vibe, the crew at Little Red.

From the team behind local fine-dining hot spots Red/Bar, Beacon, and Fresno, the just-debuted LR's being billed as a more casual experience, a vibe they've achieved by loading the walls with local artists, laying out comfy red banquettes, and refurbishing the old Buckley's floorboard bar, meaning this time you'll be on the floor after just one beverage. Along with beachy staples like fish & chips and burgers, thoughtful fare'll include steaks w/ Camembert mashed taters, the Little Red Grilled Cheese (brie, braised cabbage, slow-roasted duck), and locally caught sea life, from seared blackfish w/ crab dumplings, to grilled monkfish w/ escargot butter, which'll fittingly slow your arteries to a snail's pace. Taps'll pump out rotating selections of Southampton Publick House brews, as well as local vinos from Channing Daughters (Rosato di Merlot) and Paumanok (Chenin Blanc); original 'tails will include the Little Red Negroni (Bols, aperol, sweet vermouth), a pomegranate French 76, and a peach vodka John Daly called the Pick Me Up (only if you put your shirt on first, John).

Come July 8th they're also planning to open up outdoor seating and launch lunch service, a welcome midday break from hanging on the beach dealing with Casey Hampton's "swim moves".
