Since clean burgers generally taste like soap and disappointment, as of tomorrow morning Dirty Burger will provide a filthier option from the back of a corrugated tin shack in Kentish Town, while also serving as a forerunner for the same team's imminent Chicken Shop, set to open in the same building.
The menu's tightly focused on the eponymous beef-wich, which is made from a secret combo of three different Ginger Pig cuts mixed with bone marrow, topped with a slice of cheddar, and housed in a double-glazed sweet bun made on site. Those sweet, sweet buns also wrap themselves around a pair of breakfast burgers (from 7am daily), filled out with a fried egg and either double-cured bacon or haggis sausage, if you can stomach stomach that early in the morning.
You'll also find straight-cut onion rings (more like Nik Naks, really), and crinkle-cut chips that're steamed twice before cooking (ironically, this adds to the creases), while to wash it all down they're slinging both Moretti & tap Camden Pale, either of which'll have you trying to get dirty, only to end up disappointed.
