The lauded Nancy Silverton/Mario Batali pizzeria's a Favorite Five no-brainer thanks to bubbly crusted 'zas topped w/ squash blossoms, tomato & burrata, or stinging nettles & Finocchiona salama, but it's also deserving because of its oft-forgotten otherworldly specials, like apple cider pork ribs on Thursdays, spicy pepper-laden chicken thighs on Saturdays, and thick Sunday Lasagne, so keep your head on a swivel for a fat, cynical, orange-striped cat.
