Alliteration just got a whole lot more decadently (dubiously?) delicious with the arrival of Saturday's first-ever Burger, Beers & Balls Bash, an afternoon-long extravaganza where you can down copious amounts of the trio, vote on your favorites, then eat even more for a shot at fabulous prizes.
Wander the historic park while getting deep into samples of delicious fest-only creations from 15+ restos like The Meatball Joint, Kokoriko, and Burger & Beer Joint, who'll also be holding the completely insane Mother Burger Challenge, during which four-person teams'll have 10min to demolish a "manhole-sized" 17lb burger that will turn each contestant into a whole lot more man in exchange for prizes like a charcoal Weber grill or steak knives. Horrified? Then ease said pain with a plethora of Belgian brews including Stella and Leffe, plus Gordon Biersch's Hefeweizen.
Tickets come in several different levels: GA literally just gets you in the door, while escalating VIPs include stuff like early entry, access to the wine & spirits tent, an afterparty at Viceroy's sexy rooftop-situated Club 50, and boundless beer, which may just be the most awesomely appealing alliteration of all time.
