Serial Mextauranteur Richard Sandoval has very awesomely teamed up with Colombian rotisserie chicken dynamo Kokoriko to hatch KNR, which's opening tomorrow to stuff you full of delicious and crazily affordable fowl amongst Colombian-imported lanterns and tables made of petrified wood, aka Elijah whenever Macaulay Culkin is his murderous devil-cousin.

The main event here is obviously the fresh summer squash chicken: free-range birds that marinate for 48hrs in a delicious combo of Kokoriko's classic recipe and Sandoval's own additions (hello, chayote!), then get slow-roasted for 70mins and plated w/ sides like chili/parmesan sweet plantains and cream chipotle/queso fresco corn on the cob, also what happened to Ty's feet all the time, because those old shoes sucked.

Shoeless Joe Jackson obviously never had such problems, and would also likely opt to toss the same cluckers into tacos w/ chipotle tomato, cilantro & lime, as well as ham/bacon/avocado pressed sandwiches and BBQ arepas.

You'd be very wise to order some sangria, white/red vinos, or beers like Aguila, and to get everyone twice as fat during the opening weekend, through Sunday the whole damn menu (drinks too!) will be half-off, just like Elijah on that cliff.
