No, our third annual BBQ & The Blues is not Brett Hull and Grant Fuhr cooking hot dogs on a Weber while wearing their newest purchases from FlirtyAprons.com. It's actually even better -- a beachside South Beach Wine & Food Festival extravaganza of meats grilled by heavy-hitter Miami chefs as bands play sexy live music that's way better than whatever's on Al MacInnis's Zune. And the time to get your tickets is right now.

The 305's grilling gurus will gather on the beach at the Eden Roc to create unsafe amounts of their BBQ goodness, which you can eat, then re-eat, then eat some more to your suddenly palpitating heart's content. Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian's taking the reins, and he's called in culinary heavyweights like gastroPod's Jeremiah Bullfrog, who was and currently still is a good friend of his, Meat Market's Sean Brasel, Paula DaSilva from 1500°, Wynwood Kitchen and Bar's Miguel Aguilar, Eva Presantez of Brother Jimmy's, and Cesar Zapata from The Federal, who will surely Express himself well through his cuisine.

While menus won't be fully set until closer to the throwdown, the chefs involved have been known to work up everything from ancho chile-rubbed brisket, to pork belly tacos, to short rib sliders, to mango BBQ Kobe meatloaf, which, it turns out, is exactly what's on Al MacInnis's Zune.
