Nana's Original Stromboli

Trolleys: now good for more than just Rice-A-Roni commercials

A long, long time ago (three years), a man who owned a Ft. Laudy shop peddling the glory that was his Nana’s stromboli awesomely thought, "Hey, wouldn't it be just grand if this store was on wheels?" Grand it would be indeed, so he searched and searched for an old-school milk delivery truck, before stumbling upon an antique trolley, which’s now equipped to feed you delicious stromboli on the streets of Miami, so you can live happily ever after. The End. Just kidding, there's more.

The fully restored 34-seat trolley -- literally purchased from some dude on the side of the street, and nicknamed Miss Marie -- was gutted and re-lined with wood finishings and a giant stromboli-slamming booth for when it’s not on the move, and painted on the outside with an Italian cityscape, likenesses of both Nana and the new “Nana” (his mom who makes all the eats daily), and the slogan "No one rolls one like us", except someone who’s really good at Liar’s Dice...wait, you seriously got a one again?! Challenge!

During the day Marie'll be dishing out hoagies, Caesar salads, and Philly cheesesteaks, but if you catch her for dinner, you’re getting stromboli and stromboli only, including beauties like the Original with Hormel pepperoni, salami, ham, green peppers, and mozzarella, one with seasoned Philly steak, grilled onions, and a "special cheese blend", and another packed with chicken & spinach, basically Popeye’s resting state, and what snaps him out of it.

And because that’s just what Nanas do, there’re also homemade sweets like cream-filled cannoli, chocolate brownies, and hand-dipped, frozen chocolate bananas coated with nuts, sprinkles, and coconut, enough of which will make your life more quickly come to The End.
