Roasters sandwiches, now for dinner, too

After years of refusing to serve you dinner, unless you were really old and ate it at 3p, the duo behind 27yrs-young deli Roasters' n Toasters just unleashed R n T: an all-day, sub ‘n wing counter-service shop right next door that’s filled its flatscreen-equipped walls with sports memorabilia including Jeremy Shockey jerseys, Dan Marino's 400-TD plaque, and a “Hall of Fame” wall for athlete patrons to autograph (sorry, Eddy Curry, they said “athletes”)

Super-sized sandos on Philly-imported bread include slow-cooked meatball subs, the "Yo Adrienne" Philly steak, off-the-skewer lamb gyros, a French-dip roast beef hero topped w/ sautéed onions, roasted peppers, and gravy, plus the four-meat/two-cheese MacDaddy, after which you should definitely not Jump! Jump! for at least 45mins

They're also slinging a serious lineup of fried, grilled, and oven-roasted wings that can be slathered in one of 20 sauces like pineapple sweet chili, habanero BBQ, and the Ed Begley, Jr.-hot "Death by Wing", which can also be remixed into mashups like the honey garlic/teriyaki glaze "Shanghai Special", and Caribbean sauce & ranch "Caribbean Cowboy", also a movie in which John Travolta rides a mechanical bull in Jamaica, and nobody cares because they’re all too stoned.

They’re still waiting for their liquor license, which means you’ll just have to totally bug out on sugar via root beer floats and homemade cupcakes like the PB-stuffed Reese's Cup and Red Velvet, better known as the fabric used in Eddy Curry's delicious edible pajamas.
