Because the skyway is for the birds

Is it ironic that a skyway restaurant choosing to open its second location at street level will actually elevate its game?! Maybe! But why don't you mull it over while chowing on an enormous patty, at My Burger Uptown?

The less-remote/-raised second incarnation of a concept dreamed up by its owner while on a plane to guest lecture for a business class, Uptown slings mouthwatering burgers from a mod, high-design takeout/sit-down space that the owners insist (seriously) could only be improved by having Sam Elliott as a greeter, so that business class lecture must have been at Harvard or Penn or something. They've got chicken, veggie, and fish discs in addition to their beef burger, all of which're served single or double in regular, California, or "kinda fancy" style (bacon/ cheese, shroom/ cheese/ bacon), and with adds like fried egg, mushrooms, bacon, bbq sauce, teriyaki, and cajun or jerk spice, also what Becks calls Posh during spats, before having the most attractive make-up sex ever. They sling wacky burger-of-the-months too, like the uber-spicy Backdraft, the PB/ fried nanners/ bacon Elvis Freshly ("our worst seller, but best named"), and the currently offered, smoked Gouda/ smoked bacon/ smoked garlic aioli "Smoke Jumper" inspired by Entourage, marking the first time ever that Entourage can actually be called "inspiring".

And once their license clears, they'll be pouring wine and locally sourced brews like Nordeast and Summit's Pils, also one thing found at street level that'll get you high.
