Espousing more Victorian charms than the namesake queen's bracelet -- and she had a four-leaf clover, her birthstone, and the limited-edition Veuve bottle -- is the latest venture from the Franklin Fountain dudes, who took the old Shane Candies shop and restored the ornate filigree moldings and hulking turn-crank registers before stuffing the shelves with old-school American sweets like MA-sourced Gibraltar rock candies and made-upstairs chocolates including pecan clusters, nut-flavored buttercreams, and dark chocolate-covered mint sticks.
