Not just the end result of Ken and Ryu's love, the adorable Kyu is also a sushi & robata-taurant taking over the old Bahn Thai BBQ and Noodles on Post, and making the most of a large hallway-sized space by Tetris-ing in 42 seats and adding a modern aesthetic including LED lighting that looks like rain, which you know is gonna get Adele fired up.

A former Ebisu chef's pulling the strings, plus also making the sushi, with roll-iness like the Toshi (spicy tuna, tempura, albacore, crab, tobiko) and a baked salmon & masago-topped California dubbed the Lion King (RIP Mufasa), paired with unexpected deliciousness like corn fritters, bacon-wrapped asparagus, and sweet grilled pork shoulder.

Prominently displayed in front of an artistic b&w of a cherry blossom-lined lane, the sake selection is made up of 15 bottles (incl. three super premiums), tres drafts (Sapporo, Pyramid Hef, and Chimay), and six more in the fridge including Tsing Tao, Asahi Black, and Anchor Porter, which hadouken likely put back a lot of.
