Surprisingly not run by a bold, charismatic, Guy Fawkes-mask-wearing freedom fighter driven to exact revenge on those who disfigured him, Cafe V's a Southeast Asian cuisinery outta Berkeley with a dichotomous interior that finds room for futuristic purple globe lighting alongside murals of Vietnamese villages. Must-eats include a Banh Mi burger (w/ sambal mayo, jalapeno, pickled carrots & cucumbers, cilantro) and the Flaming Beef (w/ sweet chili, caramelized onion, and fried egg).
