They say everything's bigger in Texas, but that's just because they haven't seen the portion of Washington occupied by your hindquarters after a few too many portions of Lone Star-style eats from The Town's newest food truck, Rollin Q.
Serving up Texas-stye BBQ and traditional Southern foodstuffs, this truck's got to be from an Alice Walker fan, as it's painted the color purple. Though his wife does the desserts, the man with the master van is a grandfather from Texas who was through working in places like the Four Seasons, but yearned to join the "street food revolution" in a place where there's only one, maybe one & a half seasons. Down-home deliciousness means beef, ribs, sausage, or chicken BBQ Plates w/ "Jazzy Beans" & potato salad (or on a sandwich), as well as specialty items (Louisiana Seafood Gumbo, Smokey BBQ Hot Wings), and sides that include housemade mac & cheese, and a "Big A$$ Spud", clearly not appropriate for little tots. They're also rotating in additional Southern dishes like chicken & waffles, meatloaf, and dirty rice, which, if the rumors are to be believed, was Sarah Palin's secret nickname for Glen. Me-ow!!
If your doctor approves it, feel free to order the aforementioned desserts including peach cobbler, sweet potato pie, and banana pudding, then wash it all down with Sweet Texas Iced Tea, lemonade, and sodas by the can, which, unlike yours, isn't going to get any bigger.
