Prepare for Chris Christie to throw his enormous hat back in the race, because DC now has 24hr food in a space that can accommodate him, with The Hamilton. Enjoying the 19ft ceilings and 37000sqft of the old Garfinckel's department store, it's joining The Diner and a handful of others in all-day/all-night glory, with mahogany walls covered in 50 original Audubon bird prints, and art installations of toucans and parrots, so get in the mood to state how much you like this piece repeatedly.

The Food You Will Eat At Each Meal, Never Leaving Your Seat: Breakfast with two eggs & hanger steak (w/ salsa verde and house-cut fries), lunch on sushi like a roasted tomato/ kiwi Salmon Lover roll, sup on a veal cutlet w/ crispy sweetbreads and potato puree, and then randomly, at like 3:47a, snag mushroom-onion marmalade on roasted marrow, which is presumably good to the bone.

Drink: Housing six different bars (one's secret!), they're pouring 20 drafts (Tröegs HopBack, Port City Porter, Ommegang Hennepin...) and have 12 specialty cocktails like the Aaron Burr (gin/ Italian Amaro/ a flamed orange peel), and a julep (rye, fresh mint, Turbinado sugar) they say "will keep you floating", meaning "they" clearly didn't read that above section that detailed all the heavy food you will be downing.

And in case you want some live music between dinner and your 3:47a marrow, head downstairs for acts (kicking off w/ Mavis Staples) on a stage with state-of-the-art lighting & sound, and in a room with enough space for 400 people. Or if Chris is in town, at least like 390 people.
