Homage

Sports allegiances are anchored in childhood wonderment, from the days when you marveled at Roger Clemens' furious nobility, instead of his "B-12 and Lidocaine"-addled lunacy. Re-illusion yourself, with Homage.

Thrillist - Homage ClothingHomage tees print nostalgic sports logos, personalities, and themes on "buttery-soft" shirts chosen specifically for their hipster-hoodwinking, faux-vintage qualities. The basic, block-lettered model name-drops sports havens like "Beantown" and "INDY", while the "Ohio"'s font apes the OSU marching band's halftime formation (every week, you're the lucky guy who dots the "i", with food). Other offerings reference deity-level athletes and coaches, like the Celtic-green, double-zeroed "Chief", a faded blue job shouting "Woody, Thanks for the memories!", and the just-released "Dr. J", honoring the only man in history to pull off knee pads.Homage also offers non-sporty affairs like "Jesse Jackson President '84" and "Listen to Kris Kross" -- which, to your own adult wonderment, is not optimized to be worn backwards.
