Like a baby monitor for your dinner, this wireless set's baster-like probe sends updates to a hand receiver containing a database of temperature settings for six types of poultry and meat; the receiver audibly alerts you when the desired temp's reached, though impatient people can monitor the current-temp LED display -- if it drops below 50 and you eat it, your colon will explode.
