Dryads Dancing

A Chamblee furniture designer barns down your house

Since real-life prancing nymphs only hang out at Trapeze, why not deck your home with the help of Dryads Dancing, a rustic artisan furniture shop led by self-taught artist/"scavenger" and noble ATLien Simone Wilson, who hand-makes pieces by putting welded steel frames on patchwork boards of reclaimed barnwood, which's what Amish people get when they look at their dirty magazines about barns. Get yourself:

Beds:They come in five color palettes (natural brown, autumn-esque Harvest…), and you can get just a headboard or the whole setup with a footboard and siderails, also the lines of coke Robert Downey Jr. neglects to mention to the lines of coke he’s seriously dating.

Tables: There're both one- & two-tiered consoles, end tables, and coffee-setters for outdoors and in, including the round Sunburst with wheels on its leg ends, though Simone admits "casters may not be necessary" -- a movie-making philosophy that's been crucial to the success of the Wayans family.

Lamps: Get lit with the rectangular Patchwood or the two-toned Tall Brush, both of which boast handmade perforated steel shades, which she says look even cooler with a bulb that's got a filament, because still having a Velamint in 2011 -- unlike what happens at Trapeze -- will only result in a turn-off.
