Showcasing sausage that you won't want to put in your mouth but that'll delight you nonetheless, is Dudes on Pizza: an art show opening at Domy this weekend from creative dynamo Michelle Devereux, who you might've seen as the starlet of Dry Hump: The Game, shaking her toes in the dance troupe What's Tappening, or drumming in fem-noise act SSSTORMSHELTERRR, the only band who can rock and be rocked like a hurricane.
The colored pencil/airbrushed work depicts her testosterone-pumping cohorts at art collective Monophonus surfing on slices: the Soft Healer guitarist in clip-on shades; a wife-beater'd, blinged-out take on another Domy-featured artist on pepperoni; and the jorted guy behind Texas' Largest Hammer Choir barely balancing on a Bagel Bite (so, he looks like he's about to eat it).
As if that weren't enough (a preposterous notion, because it's dudes on pizza), there'll also be a pop-up shop from online curator Busy-Being and Pizza Dude #2's collection of Blood-/Crip-inspired works, so it won't be just the pies that're packing heat.
