Andre De Freitas Art

Famous faces, zombified

If hip-hop stars constantly rapping about getting brains is any indication, even the most famous among us aren't immune to becoming zombies, so Peruvian artist Andre De Freitas has used his mad illustration skillz to imagine what a number of iconic characters would look like if they succumbed to the gruesome ranks of the undead (note: Steve Buscemi looks pretty much the same). Available prints include:

Superheroes: Protective suit tattered, The Dark Knight looks even deader than he did after Batman & Robin.

Nostalgia: Even obnoxiously standing next to a barber pole in an overcrowded mall couldn't stop the zombies from finding Waldo, and Streetfighter's Ryu apparently got cute and tried to mix things up with a Hurricane Kick instead of just doing, like, a billion Hadoukens.

Toons: Donald Duck's giant eyes are hauntingly cloudy, while Popeye manages to keep a pipe in his mouth, which any zombie could tell you is a crucial element in getting some brain.
