Sales Planner – NY

Thrillist.com, the leading men's lifestyle newsletter, has an immediate opening for a Digital Advertising Sales Planner with a strong understanding of the online advertising industry and a passion for humor, New York living and successfully growing a fun, dynamic, and creative business. Primary responsibilities include:

• Create strong and effective media proposals based on sound and innovative strategies that meets client objectives through Thrillist product offerings
• Manage all pre- and post-sale activity including production schedules, securing campaign materials, creating project briefs, obtaining all necessary approvals to ensure advertising campaigns run on schedule.
• Serve as day-to-day point person with Clients as well as with internal Editorial, Trafficking and Tech teams to facilitate production calendars, material requests, and other relevant project information.
• Work with Sales Managers to develop prospect lists of potential brand marketing partners for Thrillist.
• Input RFP responses into internal systems, client external templates and 3rd party planning systems.
• Analyze current campaigns to optimize performance and deliver on client objectives.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the property, current campaigns, past case studies along with Thrillist and industry best practices.

Required Qualification/Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 2-3 years digital production experience
• Knowledge of DFP (DART for Publishers), CRM systems (SalesForce), and working knowledge of HTML
• Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
