Big Dig Adventure

702.499.3111

Vegas is all about engaging in destructive behavior, so why not balance it out by engaging in some constructive behavior -- like using heavy-duty Caterpillar equipment to destroy things? Demolish an afternoon at Big Dig.

Just opened by a lifelong construction vet, Big Dig'll pick you up on the Strip, then whisk you just out of town to a 10-acre sandbox where, after a brief, potentially limb-saving safety session, you're let loose on one of three giant yellow beasts. Your options: a Caterpillar DSK Tractor (your standard bulldozer), a Cat Skid Steer (a dozer with a more functional arm for lifting/tossing), and a Cat Hydraulic Excavator, with extended rotating arm/claw for deeper digging, and grabbing (sounds like falling in love). Though muscling your way through the dirt's plenty aggro, Big Dig also offers a pair of more intense options: an Aggression Session, in which a fleet of junked cars can be ran-over, mangled, and dropped from the Excavator's 20-foot arm; and the Dozer Race, where buddies (or you and an instructor) lurch head-to-head to a finish line, one in a dozer with the blade holding an old car, one in an Excavator holding a car in its claw -- an activity so enjoyable, it's the single greatest drain on the American construction industry.

The only requirements to get behind the wheel are that you're "18 and sober". Fail both, and you've already got your hands full destroying your youth.
