Ames Bros
Unless you're fortunate enough to be Frank Stallone or Roger Clinton, it's hard to make a name for yourself while living in a famous brother's shadow. Trying bravely: Ames Bros.
Ames Bros is a T-shirt/poster/graphic design company co-founded by Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament's brother, who's one notch on the obscurity totem lower than Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready's brother. To their credit, the Bros hand-made-in-LA, slim-fitting shirts stand out on their own, with designs as instantly iconic as the corporate logos they've done for MTV, Converse, Nike, blahblahblah. Among the latest:
