Started by two Angelenos wary of dubious posts from the likes of "PhishFan420" and "Roger Ebert", Clique's a user-generated review site that lets you winnow things down to the people you trust most (hopefully, your friends). Just create a simple profile, then invite whoever into your "clique"; when you log in, just click on the tab for your clique's reviews to bypass the ravings of the idiot masses (other peoples' friends).
