The New Crazy Girls

1433 N La Brea, Hollywood; 323.969.0055

Two weeks ago, the infamous titty landmark Crazy Girls reopened after a $100,000+ renovation. What was once a duct-taped slime pit is now a four-poled, red-boothed, high-end club serving Johnny Walker Blue and Louis XIV to LA's most discriminating aspiring adulterers. In keeping with the relative classiness, the girls now wear bikinis, but the question remains, Are they still crazy?

Recent evidence of mental instability: I walked here from Western [in a Juicy Couture sweatsuit and 5-inch heels]. It took me an hour.

Dancing for: 7 months, though, "I started Go-Go dancing when I was 15, at places I wasn't old enough to get into."
Cause of insanity: Recently, I quit my day job at a Beverly Hills boutique. My boss said, 'It's very hard to make that transition from dancing to acting.' What better way to separate yourself from all the other dumb girls out here than to say you're a stripper?

That which most stokes her crazy: [Points at her glass of wine] Bartenders.

Madness! To keep your own sanity, try the $10 PBR/Old Crowe special (running through November) -- surrounded by the newly installed finery, drinking this'll be the alcoholic equivalent of walking into the old Crazy Girls sporting nothing but Umbros and galoshes.
