Take advantage of Mammoth's fresh load of snow with this just-launched, back-country tour: a 15 minute ride in a pimped-out Snowcat (captain's chairs/sound system/etc) up to the Minaret Vista, where you'll gorge outdoors on a rotating, Patina Group-catered, three-course feast that could feature anything from herb-roasted 1/2 chicken, to smoked salmon bruschetta, to tiramisu -- succumb to its dainty charms, knowing that though you can see for miles, no one can see you.
