Snacks and S**t

Social commentators are important because they provide new insights, like Jon Stewart's fresh takes on the daily news and Andy Rooney's witty observations on being mean and crazy. Providing incisive commentary on rap lyrics, Snacks And S**t.

Named after an old Jay-Z lyric, Snacks is a locally-based blog that takes the piss out of only the stupidest lyrics in hip-hop, compiled and written by a lifetime-friend duo of a data programmer and stand-up comic, whose relationship will probably be mined by Judd Apatow, and then inundated with pen15 jokes. Among the choicest bits:

Kanye West: "I live by two words: f**k you, pay me"
SaS: "OK, first of all, this saying is four words long. So you're an idiot."

Drake: "Call me 'Mr. Shoppin' Bag Drizzy'... and call me 'Mr. Damn He Ain't Coppin' That Is He?'
SaS: "Nurse at the doctor's office: Okay, Mr.... Damn He Ain't Coppin' That Is He... (sigh). Follow me."

E40: "I'ma be the first hustler that set up shop on Jupiter."
SaS: "Nobody is going to do business with you on Jupiter. Filed under: Too far away / Would die instantly "

Each lyric's also labeled with its reason for inclusion for easy reference (i.e., "That's not Even Cool", "Not Gangster", etc) and the site owners're open to taking suggestions from readers -- although not Andy Rooney, since he's too busy buying spatulas, for his store up in Jupiter.
