Adolescence is a beautiful time, when unearned swagger and nervous sarcasm walk hand-in-hand, only to fade once you finally get laid, then come roaring back once you realize that sex takes work. Celebrate that special feeling, with gear from Kid Dangerous.

Using simple but compelling graphics, Kid creates tees and hoodies that vent your hilariously surly inner teen in far more effective fashion than slamming your door because no one understands you. Many pieces are aggressively printed with attention-getting wordplay, like “Pump Up The Valium” (in super-thin, distressed cotton with big, weathered block font); “I Did Blow With Kate Moss...” (and of course only got a lousy t-shirt); and “F*ck Your Style”, in pink, rock-poster font placed low and off-center across the hip, like a timid case of Tourette's. Visuals are provided by “Mama Said”, which finishes L.L.'s lyric with a pic of Ali standing over Liston, “Boys Lie”, with a teenager whispering to a scandalized schoolgirl, and “Do Not Stop Believing”: a stop sign with Don't and Believin' spray-painted on (when a handsome Filipino man has stolen your voice, what else is there to do but vandalize?).

The most arresting shirt in the collection's probably “I F*cked Blanche Devereaux”, sporting a Golden Girls portrait with Blanche isolated in red, grinning and raising a toast -- here's to you, because who else's inner teen would actually have sex with a septuagenarian?
