Eat: Caviar Kaspia

1220 Collins Ave, South Beach; 305.674.7899

The Paris landmark just opened its first stateside locale in the lobby of The Webster retail store, serving caviars from a murderer's row of sturgeons, including the Oscietre (large eggs w/ subtle woody and nutty flavors), Sevruga (the smallest, most densely flavored), and Imperial Baeri (from the Siberian sturgeon, medium sized), as well as non-fish-egg goodies like an assortment of smoked swimmers (trout, eel, sturgeon) and fresh crustaceans like huge Kamchatka king crab and delicate crawdads, who will be boiling mad when eaten on Father's Day.
