Pan-world-cuisine-dishing Balans is opening its third Miami location, this time on Biscayne; this one's got a more nocturnal vibe, with velvety Asian lounge décor of dark recycled teak floors, bamboo accents, and tons of cushy pillows, plus an outdoor bar centered around a big Buddha head, at which to enjoy pan-fried tilapia with garbanzo bean curry & mint yogurt, Chilean sea bass in a sweet pepper stew, and cheese souffle that's been double-baked, and is really enjoying all those cushy pillows.
