While having an old man painstakingly grope you can be flattering, sometimes you just don't have the flexibility to go in for a custom shirt fitting. For a quicker route, try indiTailored.
Having started out designing online customization tech for retailers like Lands End, indi's axed the middleman and applied their engine to the less sensibly crunchy realm of high-qual dress shirts in high-count cotton and dandyish fabrics from twill to herringbone. Pick between the Tailored (contempo slim fit) or Classic (looser fitting) base shape, select one of 23 fabric swatches (more to come), and then it's on to the deets: 12 collar options (Buttondown, Spread, Tab, etc), 7 cuffs (1/2/3-buttons, French, Mitered, etc), 4 pocket styles, 3 back pleats, and a monogram option limited only by your name/number of hilarious three-letter words you can think of (SUK ASS POO on that). Indi'll then ask a few of simple questions to gauge appropriate fit: height/weight, neck & waist size, sportcoat size and length, plus a handful of general torso descriptions accompanied by diagrams best described as "fat-ucational" (for instance, chests can be "husky or hefty", but stomachs are more appropriately "stout").
To cover the rest of you, indi's planning on adding pants and blazers, as well as a third, uber-trendy shirt style called the "Individual": with contrast stitching and embroidered pockets, you'll look so sharp, the old men will come running to you.
