From the oldest producer of world-renowned Harris Tweed (which all originates in Scotland's Outer Hebrides), HTS jackets're inspired by the original ones made from its namesake material which came to define English landed gentry by the late 1800s (not the tattered blankets that defined frigid Scottish peasants far earlier). The elaborate, essentially unchanged tweed creation process: after 100% virgin wool's dyed and spun into yarn, local crofters use centuries-old techniques to weave the tweed by hand on traditional looms, then return it to the mill to be expertly washed and finished...with the tears of Christopher Lambert! Designed to wear-in gracefully, HTS's current line features four uniquely soft classic fabrics, from the tannish Barva, to the grey-and-white-speckled Laxdale; each jacket's single breasted w/ all-leather buttons and features a half-canvas interlining to prevent creasing and hold the shape, keeping you kempt even after vigorous jacketivities like foxhunting, or falconry, which is just way lazier foxhunting.
