From preseason player rankings, to wrenching lineup decisions, to 3am waiver pickups, fantasy football's drained countless hours from your life -- and then Bernard Pollard pulled down his pants and ruined your championship dreams. Ditch futile long-range planning for more instant grat, at Fantazzle.
Hatched by a fantasy vet who's been in the game since pen&paper, Taz's weekly fantasy games start anew each Tue/Wed, offering cash prizes without the kind of exhaustive dedication that, if you'd applied it to real sports, would have gotten you...injured. Using a standard TD/Yardage system, Taz offers two variations on the classic full-roster game, with a 3QB/5RB/5WR/3TE point total "Challenge" mode, and an identical mode + salary cap; there's also "Pick 'Em", where you predict the higher scoring QB from each NFL matchup, and "Confidence", which awards points based on the level of faith you have in your QBs (sadly, no points're awarded for your QB's own heightened confidence -- sorry, Philip Rivers fans). Once you pick your game, simply choose your entry fee ($5-$50) and # of other Taz users in your league (2, 5, 10, or unlimited), and your league'll be automatically created; to emphasize wisdom over draft position, each player is available to all league members, meaning everyone can gamble on Gus Frerotte's vast experience paying dividends, then ram their head into a wall when it doesn't.
Taz currently offers only football, but plans to roll out NBA, NHL, MLB, NASCAR, and PGA throughout '08/'09, so even if Boo Weekley blows out his MCL trying to read a book, you'll still be in the hunt.
Invite leagues coming soon. Get started with your new fantasy life at Fantazzle.com
