This new PC/Mac software lets you easily create DJ-caliber playlists and track-transitions by importing your tunes, running each song through an algorithm to determine beats per minute and unique song structure (downbeats, waveforms, etc), and properly "beatmatching" tracks with similar tempos/structure. Pick a track, and it'll highlight others that "match" and transition seamlessly; if you want to follow it with a song that doesn't match, you can use its mixing tool to automatically connect them fluidly, using a technique live DJs call "dropping on the 1", which they also do on the subway ride home if the passed apps don't sit that well.
