Mari-Janes Tees

Awesome wearable movie-repping merch

Cinema's rife with incredible products you'd like to get your hands on, like light sabers, and third breasts. Putting those products on tees: Mari-Jane.

A fresh line of crewnecks repping well-known fictional products and the corporations that make them, MJ's from a small throng of pop culture-obsessed Iowans whose only local options for the stuff made them want to Slip-a-knot around their necks. Categories include:

Horror/Sci-Fi: A blood-stained white job with the letterhead for Pierce & Pierce: Mergers and Acquisitions; Blain's "Old Painless" chain gun next to the warning "I Ain't Got Time To Bleed"; and a sign for the homebase Walter Chang's store from Tremors, attacked because even worms love Bacon.

Action: Die Hard's Nakatomi Corp, Jurassic Park's InGen, and ICS Television Network's Running Man, though considering California's budget problems Arnold's rumored Senatorial chances may be Subzero.

Comedy: Ranges from recent hits -- the red skyline of Speaker City, a childish globe with Prestige Worldwide -- to classics, including a simple logo for Sandusky, OH's Callahan Auto Parts, and the Hackensack Bulls logo from Brewster's Millions, a name that didn't apply to its box office haul.

They've also got options from the small screen, including Hazard County's Boars Nest, Miami's vice-ful Bernay's Cafe, and homages to Binford Tools and Seinfeld's Jerk Store, though frankly you can get your hands on plenty of jerks and tools without the help of cinema.
