Built from salvaged Maine lumber and detritus from a mechanic's garage, Habitat's a log cabin-stee'd pub serving 12 NY microbrews (Ommegang, Brooklyn Ale) plus cheeseburgers, empanadas, and other bar grub prepared by a former Lotus cook. On a curious note, the manager's a former social worker, who so enjoyed bettering the lives of alcoholic paupers he decided to create more of them.

Snag NY-based Dynomighty's lightweight Tyvek wallets, designed to resemble international airmail envelopes. Each wallet's equipped with "secret storage areas" between the outer shell and inner lining, perfect for skating past customs with $10,000+ in currency, disease agents, cell cultures, and/or snails.

These creepily esoteric tees (wolves w/ fangs bared, ominously bearded men, an inverted monster truck) come from a Brooklyn couple who draw inspiration from "conceptual art, Vikings, and things of an evil nature in a fun way" -- you know, everyday life in Park Slope.
