Free Drinks: Tommy Chong Open Bar
9-11pm Aug 13 at an undisclosed location

Tommy Chong invites you and a guest to join him in celebration of the release of "Cheech and Chong: The Unauthorized Autobiography" with 2 hours of free-flowing V2 vodka. RSVP on time, and you'll be emailed a confirm plus the location of the party, whose Chelsea whereabouts are currently undisclosed, but are probably close to a 2xist ad.

Gear: Deck Yourself

The NY artist behind these pop arty, made-for-hanging skate decks (Asian tigers, a blinged-out Darth Vader saying "Yo, NYC Raps") is offering a 1/2-off summer dog-owner discount: send a photo of your pooch, choose any theme, and he'll make a custom deck w/ your hound's visage ("Boards of Dogtown"?).

Grooming: FSC Barber
5 Horatio St, at W 4th; 212.929.3917

From Freemans Sporting Club, this 8-chair shop's decked in Gilded Age tonsorial chic (vintage leather chairs, reclaimed Appalachian wood floors, etc), and offers same-priced Club services (shaves, haircuts, trims...) plus a new Hangover Remedy (rose water wash, hot eucalyptus towel, eye cream, shoulder massage). They also purvey grooming products, including mammoth-tusk-handled straight razors inlaid w/ Stanhopes -- late 19th-century nudie-photo'd peepholes, as if a knife at your throat wasn't enough to get your blood flowing.

Gear: 75% off Furniture
Thru Aug 17 at King's Road Home: 42 Wooster St, near Broome; 212.941.5011

Up to 75% off sofas, dining tables, beds, etc, all collected by King's Road's owner during journeys "through the jungles of Asia and South America", an arduously long journey just so you can sit comfortably on your ass.

Eat: PetalBelle
158 Sullivan St, between Houston and Prince; 212.677.1580

From the family behind Lombardi's, this well-lit, vintage French-wallpapered sleeve curates foodstuffs from local faves (fruit danishes from Balthazar, bread from Sullivan Street Bakery), but specializes in homemade "lieges": traditional Belgian waffles baked with yeast-leavened flour and a wide-grain Scandinavian sweetener some call "pearl sugar", and others "Nütra Sweet".
