Clearly, you didn't join Mike Modano and Jerry Stackhouse at June 24's charity baseball game in Dallas. Jerk. Trestle's contemporary American cuisine's influenced by chef Ralf Keuttel's upbringing in Switzerland, birthplace of fondue and Ricola cough drops. Opening tomorrow, its dishes include Crépinette of Pork Shoulder, Stuffed Veal Breast, and Roasted Lamb Saddle bathed in Bacon Sauce -- the fondue for the new millennium that also soothes scratchy throats.
TrestleOnTenth.comSat Jul 15th, 3-11pm; Registration 3-6pm at Slane; 102 McDougal St, between W 3rd and Bleecker
Didn't win the bag? Guzzle for charity on the VBBT, where $10 and a can of food gets you 8hrs of cheap beers at nine bars. As a bonus, Playboy model Crystal Pierce will work registration from 3-5pm. Cash and cans go to City Harvest, but like you, they'd rather go home with Crystal Pierce.
