America's always relied on the courageous to pioneer uncharted territory: Lewis and Clark trailblazed the Pacific Northwest, and NYPD Blue mapped the fissures of Dennis Franz's ass. Creating an atlas for NYC binge drinking: Mapfaced.com.

Thrillist - MapfacedA mapping site that lets drinkers browse and build bar-crawl itineraries, MF was designed by two brothers, a writer and a college student -- two vocations defined by slack schedules, and the drinks with which they're filled. Though it's still in beta, they've already built out 60 Manhattan and Bklyn crawls, ranging from "Spots Where The Food is Free with Your Drink" (Alligator Lounge, Rodeo Bar, etc), to "Beer and Shot Combos in the East Village" (Mona's, B-Side), to "Drink Like a Writer" -- with just 5 bars, this author obviously throws down like Danielle Steele. When you fancy yourself intrepid, MF gives you the tools to create your own crawl; a few minutes work, and you'll be sending fellow tipplers on an adventure called "Places I've Hooked up in the Bathroom" (Mars Bar, possibly Mars Bar).

Soon, MF'll expand into restaurant tours, thus making you the trailblazing pioneer who discovers truly uncharted territory -- being both ultra-organized, and irresponsibly fat.
