Food: Super Hot Dog

Super Hot Dog

From the owners of across-the-street Food Fight, Super's peddling gourmet kosher dogs served in custom baked buns and slathered with 10 toppings to create beef-strosities like the Nacho Cheese (tortilla chips, salsa, cheddar) and the Fresh Fruit (fresh fruit slices, blueberry jam). Curiously, the tiny, one-room cafeteria was designed by 1Oak's decorator, and's completely wallpapered with an all-original comic strip called "The Adventures of Super Hot Dog" -- a red-caped wiener who'll save the world from scary fast food, once he's dispatched of his archenemy the Fresh Fruit.

Damn these dogs are sick, take a look

Drink: Jane Hotel Bar

Jane Hotel Bar

From the Bowery/Maritime guys, this ornate, faux-dilapidated, two-story ballroom rocks a low-ceilinged, English-style pub up front for all-hours drinking, plus an upstairs parlor and veranda (open in the evenings) populated with plush antique sofas sourced from yard sales/eBay, lorded over by an immense crumbling disco ball, and by a stuffed ram eternally chilling atop the fireplace. Mess you up-wise, Jane's pouring from a brown-heavy selection and whipping up custom cocktails, including the hibiscus tequila Prime Eight, the bourbon/amaro West Side, and a cucumber vodka/lemoncello combo -- called the Shofar despite it's lack of Jewishness, shofar as anyone can tell.

Gear: Supreme & Bud Collab

Supreme & Bud Collab

From the iconic NY streetwear brand and the King of Beers, this first-ever collab includes pieces both relatively classic (multi-colored baseball caps and white, beer labeled tees, one dual logo tee) and eye-bustingly busy, e.g., the fisherman's cap, short sleeve button down, and tank top, each completely covered in Bud labels, bringing philosophical profundity to the term "Beer, me".

Gear: Mathmatiks

Mathmatiks

Out of Bklyn and available in either gold-plating or solid gold, this apocalyptically steezed mewlery's mostly inspired by traditional methods of zombie plague defense (gas mask pendants w/ rhodium eye insets, sawed-off shotgun pins, etc) and comes packaged in pairs inside custom-made wooden boxes. Also avail: grenade cufflinks, an AK-47 money clip, six shooter necklaces, and a chunky, solid gold turntable ring w/ a spinning record made from black diamonds -- at $20,000, if you've bought this, something's already feasted on your brain.

Wiimbledon

Now in its 3rd year, this 128-competitor, single elimination, so-cheap-it's-almost-free Wii Tennis tourney is now offering two hours of $2 beers, plus bigger/better booty: runner-up swag including a Lenovo laptop, two Verizon HTC Touch Pros, and a Sidekick LX, plus a grand prize of $200 and two tickets to anywhere in the States on Virgin -- an appropriate carrier for people frequently skilled at Nintendo.
